Meanwhile my friend showed me his 10 year old 10/22 he only shot better CCI ammo out of and was much cleaner and he has never taken it apart.

I would use cheap ammo like that stuff in a bolt action or revolver, easier to clean and less frustrating. Like i said i got a bolt action 22 just because i have a ton of this stuff. I am even looking for a 22 revolver because i have a ton of ammo that wont shoot out of my self loaders and its just a good reason to buy another firearm

i would spend a bit more and get one that comes with both 22lr and 22mag cylinders. I have nothing in 22mag lol

There is no current shortage of 35 REM, it's been readily available for quite awhile but still pricey at most places.

Remington Thunderbolt .22 LR ammunition is on sale under $12 a brick
Seems he pulled that less than $12 price out of thin air or they changed their price since the website he wrote about has it for sale at $12.99 per brick.

Just make sure you don't have a squib. Any time something doesn't sound right or feel right, don't ignore it. And don't fire the next round. Stop, drop, clear and inspect.
No one ever wished they didn't have a gun.
