    RO training

There was a discussion somewhere a while back about RO training. Anyone know if there was anything planned? I got an email about something possibly happening on Staten Island but that seems to have gone dark.

Are you referring to NRA Range Safety Officer, or USPSA/NROI Range Officer?

I believe the one in S.I. Is for uspsa/nroi and is in August.
Myself and a few members of that other site did the NRA RO class with Dynamic Firearms at Mitchell field.

I would love to take a course like this, any available locally?

Course was at Mitchell field given by Dynamic Firearms training.
          Long day like 8:30-6:30.
Mostly classroom but at endofday we split into 2 groups and went into separate ranges with role playing and live fire situations.
Also covered and handled just about every type of rifle and pistol actions.
All I all definitely worth taking.

What's required to attend one of these? Pistol Permit etc?

I'm assuming so since it's USPSA.
