Private group classes, private lessons, and online tuneups

Over the course of the past year and a half I've done quite a few private classes, private lessons, and dryfire tuneups with people. This has been a pretty good turnout and value for others so I figured I'd post it up here with info. for those that may be interested.

Private classes are a great way to take a group and "level them up" together. This is also a great way to work on literally anything you guys want to work on. You want to do a defensive based shotgun class? No problem. You want to develop competition skills? We got you covered. Between myself and Von, we have significant experience in all aspects of shooting and personal protection, so we can customize and develop you and your group together.

We can do these during the week as well if you guys need that availability. Our typical ranges are available (Mitchel Field Range and LIPSA), or if you have a range you would like us to come to that can be arranged as well. We typically do 1/2 day and full day formats. This kind of class can be done with rifle, pistol, shotgun, or PCC.

Private lessons are very small groups (usually 1-3), and go for a shorter period of time (2 hours, sometimes 2.5). This is the same concept, but with a higher level of detail given to specifics of the individual. This is usually for someone who wants a high level of individual attention that a private lesson can give. Once we get through the foundational stuff, we will go through drills quicker too. The relative cost is higher naturally as there aren't multiple people to offset range costs, etc. The time is much more flexible and I typically do these on weekday afternoons, but can accommodate earlier mornings as well if you don't mind getting up.

Online Dryfire tuneups are done via some sort of video chat service (skype, zoom, whatsapp, etc.). The idea is to get the same level of individual attention, just without having to leave the home. These are usually scheduled by the hour, and are usually done in the evening. I can be flexible with these around my work schedule, but mainly we're limited to mornings and evenings around my work. Content can be anything you'd like as well, and the leveling up system will apply here too. We begin with something foundational that meets your expectations, and then we build on that as time goes on. Also, no ammo needs to be used here since it it all dryfire. Dryfire can change your game if you apply it correctly and routinely, so anyone that says they can't get better because there is no ammo is full of shit lol Yes as you improve more you need a regular live fire routine, but you also don't have to shoot 100s of rounds a session to maintain a certain level of proficiency. Depending on your level of participation, your goals, your intended (and adhered to) training schedule, and your personal mental makeup will depend on how much live ammo you actually have to shoot. Someone looking to win a national title (like me) will have different requirements than someone who is just looking to be able to hit what they aim at reasonably quickly.

Keep in mind, these classes are intended to give you information, knowledge, and help with solutions to issues. You need to PRACTICE what you've learned if you truly want to grow into a better shooter/tactician and decision maker. I can give you homework with our individual lessons that you can work on in the interim before our next lesson. If you put the work in, the results will become inevitable.

Anyway, if you guys have any questions or you want to set up any of these services we offer, send me a PM here! You can also email me at [email protected] if you'd prefer that.

My website is in the process of being able to take bookings and such, so be sure to keep an eye out there for new stuff coming as well!

Hope to hear from some of you guys soon!!

Because you're not looking in the right spot. Also very easy to message me and get this info.

            https://www.spconceptsinc.com/book-online

All prices are listed there except one on one One on one is $250 for the time and that includes the range fee. 2 people is $400, 3 people is 500

Private group class I'm looking for 6 people minimum. Anything less is fine, I just charge a 750 flat rate for 1/2 day and 1500 flat rate for full day. Anything over 6 and it's 125/250 per person extra. Website prices have $5 added for CC fees

Was my first car! Have used this SN since 2001 when I had it haha

Instagram is actually where I'm most active. I don't go on forums often because I'm usually training in some way majority of the day when I'm not working.

I don't have those up yet, but do have a word document with my personal credentials/accomplishments/why you should train with me along with one of my partners bio if that is something that is interesting to you! I can send it separate in the meantime

Yeah definitely, it's been too long since I hit the range, just need a break in my schedule. The funny thing is I have a horrible memory but I remember the classes well, so you're definitely a good teacher...anyone who can make me pay attention AND retain what I learned is nothing short of a miracle worker, hahaha. Actually, I'll start getting back into some dry fire practice, it'll help shake the cobwebs off.

Whenever I see firearms instruction, I check the instructors first. I've been approached literally dozens of times to host such classes. Almost all I've seen have their bios advertised - some are extremely impressive, and many are just hobbyists, regurgitating stuff from the plethora of classes they're stealing from (which can be ok also). I've walked out of several classes, luckily I wasn't always paying out of my own pocket.

I just think it's very important that you know who you're paying to teach you. A former SeAL with 7 combat deployments? A SWAT or undercover cop with multiple shootouts? A full-time firearms and tactics student who wants to make $ doing what he loves......all can be good or bad, but I'd like to know beforehand. Especially what type of real-world stressors they've had and performed their techniques under - bullets, bad guys or stop watches.

                              Appreciate the feedback as always!

This is also why I have my YouTube and Instagram links down below too. YouTube has the longer videos but I have plenty of content for people to digest to see how I train for myself. I also have some instructional content for people if they care to learn. I currently am coached by 2 of the best shooters in the world going in 2.5 years now, and at 2021 locap nationals at cmp marksmanship park in Alabama took 18th in my division. There are plenty of other accomplishments but to be honest those don't matter much to be because my goal is to win nationals in several years (and win more than once at least) and it will take a tremendous amount of time and effort to do so. It also requires the ability to perform in front of others for one run for score. This absolutely helps you learn more about yourself and helps you to learn to perform better, along with training your mind to process info better under stress.

Here is that nationals video, results are in the link if you care to look. I am shooting the production division - https://youtu.be/q1IyVCeqCzk. Plenty of other videos on there to see, positive and needing improvement. I am not shy about my strengths and areas to work on, because by not being honest with yourself only results in you stagnating.

If you guys are interested, I can share some podcasts that I've done as well with others in the shooting community. This will give you a better idea of who I am and what I do/how I think!
