This is also why I have my YouTube and Instagram links down below too. YouTube has the longer videos but I have plenty of content for people to digest to see how I train for myself. I also have some instructional content for people if they care to learn. I currently am coached by 2 of the best shooters in the world going in 2.5 years now, and at 2021 locap nationals at cmp marksmanship park in Alabama took 18th in my division. There are plenty of other accomplishments but to be honest those don't matter much to be because my goal is to win nationals in several years (and win more than once at least) and it will take a tremendous amount of time and effort to do so. It also requires the ability to perform in front of others for one run for score. This absolutely helps you learn more about yourself and helps you to learn to perform better, along with training your mind to process info better under stress.

I am not shy about my strengths and areas to work on, because by not being honest with yourself only results in you stagnating.

The delicate art of self-promotion isn't easy, but it may help get business if a potential student knows the instructors' background. I've seen lots of poor training. I've also seen guys who had been there and done that, a long list of creds, but didn't know how to teach or convey their personal expertise to their audience.

This reminds me of a little story --

There's a organization that "sells" safety classes -- $75. If I remember correctly --- they rented the electrical room ( closet ) at Uniondale indoor range --- 3 or 4 women were turned away because they went over their seating capacity --

Someone from from S.A.F.E. -- noticed --

"Come on in to our class -- we happen to have room -----"

Cost to these women ------- "FREE" --- LOL

Thanks! You and I have shared similar experiences with instructors. Some are excellent top level shooters, but are not great instructors. I've trained with those guys as well, and while fun because it's training, I didn't come away with a value that was worth what I paid. Some can do both very well, and truthfully that is my personal aim.

My individual goals will come along the way to my development, but I honestly feel that teaching people to succeed is what I'm meant to do if that makes sense.

I will add one more strong endorsement for Rob. I have trained with him as has my son and several of my friends / shooting buddies. His instruction is clear, on point and practical. That is equalled by his enthusiasm and honest desire to make YOU a better shooter. It's hard enough for me to get out to LIPSA for matches or I would do more of these classes with him.

I'm just a middle of the road shooter that competes in various local matches but Rob's lessons have definitely helped me improve a little. One of they key factors is that you have to be willing to put in your own time to practice as well.

Thanks! And the sentiment is true - the level of participation you put in after learning what you need to work on is what makes you truly better. Yes I can point out a lot of things and make you better temporarily, but without continued effort those changes won't continually grow.

A lot can be done with 10-15 minutes a few times a week if you're consistent about it. You don't have to train an hour plus every day like I do, but I'm also crazy so there's that hahaha

Just figured I'd update on this since it was over a year ago!

The most popular option people chose last year was the online lessons by far! I did about 50 of these in November and December alone! I think the convenience of this option and the value delivered makes it very very useful for people.

2nd most was one on one or small group lessons with me ! I did a lot of these as well as the year went on. It gives you individual attention and doesn't take up your entire day. Only downside is having to actually go to the range so the times aren't quite as convenient.

Im already setting up the calendar for this year. I have a class at New Holland Rifle and Pistol Club in Gap PA March 4th and 5th. There is one spot left in this class if anyone is interested in traveling!

I'm also setting up a class in April at lipsa as well, and am scheduled for a class in NC end of April.

Hi Rob. What class are you offering in April at LIPSA? I would love to take a class. I'm interested is USPSA type training but really looking for something defensive which would include drawing and shooting from concealmnet.

The class coming up in April is competition skills and application which is running stages.

If you want, bring your carry gear and run that instead of a competition rig. This is very common in other states!

We do draws and such in the beginning of the class as well so you will get to work on that too!
