I just took a Carbine 1 Class yesterday with a bunch of my friends with Chris Fry and all I can say is it was a EXCELLENT Class. Chris ran us through a lot of the basics and drills that went from zeroing in to shooting while moving to a one vs one shooting "competition". This is the second class I have taken with MDTS. I took Pistol 1 last November and that also is an excellent class and worth every penny. Rob and Tommy provided excellent backup support and advice while keeping everyone safe! If you haven't taken an MDTS class I highly recommend that you do at least once. Knowledge is Power!

Another great class with the Mdts crew yesterday.
Thanks to BrYan for arranging the class. It was fun and SAFE day of shooting with friends.
I've taken many of the MDTS classes including pistol, carbine, shotgun, low light, cover, and concealed carry . Next up will be Chris's knife course in the winter. If you haven't trained with Chris, Tommy, and Rob check out the MDTS website and look at the courses offered. You won't be disappointed!NRA MEMBER-NRA RSO-NYSRPA

as long as I don't have to shoot next to Joeydiver. Still have a burn mark on my cheek from his cases!
It truly was a great class, and great is a term thrown around loosely these days, but this class truly was. He packs so much into it yet you dont feel rushed. The best part of the class was learning all of the little nuances of your carbine, mags, etc.that can shave off precious seconds when you really need them.
Ive taken courses offered by others and Chris's classes surpass them by far,
Oh and BIG +1 to LIPSA for alowing MDTS to have the class there.

For those of us who don't have perfect retention his classes are worth repeating. More important is just getting out there and taking a class, any class, with any recommended teacher. Range time at your bench is good, yet the best way to improve is with a class or group where instruction and correction is given.

Agree with everything everyone already said, great class, great instructor. As usual we had a good time shooting, learning, laughing and of course, breakin balls.
On a serious note, you have to take the carbine class with a .300 blackout, this way you learn all the different things you can do to fix problems while shooting, smfh
