    1911 help. Plunger tube loose.

It's more than loose...it comes out. Lol.

Does anybody have a staking tool to lend? I'll buy one but it's one of those things I don't think I'll ever need again.

    Thanks

You need a new plunger tube and a tool to stake it correctly in place. Brownells & Midway have both.

I just realized I forgot to type "staking tool" in my post. Oops.

Yes, I know. I was hoping someone here had the tool.

try rubber bands around the gun to hold it in ------------------------ or hose clamps ... who made the gun and when .... most manufactures would probably warranty it even if its ten years old

It's a $60 tool. I'd rather buy one than deal with shipping and the possible hassle of "warranty work".
