Ka-Bar now has a tactical spork. No, really

For those looking for a $7 tactical spork made of space-age Grilamid hybrid material that packs an auxiliary knife in the handle, think Ka-Bar (#nottheOnion).

The company, long known for their Marine fighting knives, just dropped the Model 9909 Tactical Spork which boasts a 2.5-inch fully serrated blade secreted inside a 6.875-inch multipurpose eating utensil. Hopefully it’s all held together pretty good or a user could end up pulling the whole, “Do you want to know how I got these scars?” gag for a while.

The whole thing is made of food and water approved Grilamid polymer– which should appeal to those of you who get all gooey for polymer (you know who you are).

MSRP is $6.83, which is hard to argue with.

Unless you already own a GI surplus M26 Fork, Spoon and Knife set to go with your M1911. In that case, carry on, sir.

They should make a tactical plate that doubles as a shield and a bowl that doubles as a helmet. This way you can totally protect yourself while on a pick nick

Awesome for the lightweight backpackers (like my younger self).
Know your rights/Refuse peacefully to consent to a search /Ask if you are free to go or are being detained/Even if you are not doing anything wrong the 4th Amendment protects you against unreasonable searches/Never say anything to law enforcement even if you think it will help you/If questioned you should clearly and unequivocally request that you would like to have an attorney present and defer any questions until then/Never go to prison because you are afraid to go to jail.

I find it ironic that this post comes right after Idiocracy's.

I've had pretty good luck with the heavy duty nylon cutlery you can get in Wal-Mart, one can have a full sized fork, spoon and knife and STILL come in lighter.

For the price it's hard to resist. Even if it doesn't hold up, it's still good for a few laughs.

Do we need a background check here in NY to own this? It has a pointy front device, a verticle grip below the action, collapsible butt device, and it's black, so it has to be dangerous..

It will stick with my tactical steak knife.

It deploys a lot quicker because it does not need to be unscrewed from a base.
