Well I finally got the P7 after being teased with it for close to 3 years. It's in very very good condition. Would it be OK to carry it in a Kydex holster once in a while? It won't be an EDC gun. Just to a range outing a few times a year. I'd just like to keep the finish in as good as shape as possible. As Dan told me, holsters arent that easy to find for this gun.

I am a huge fan of the P7 series. Carried a P7M8 for years as it it the best handgun design ever, period. But they are out of production, collector items, and getting very pricey so using them for EDC is out.

I'm not a fan of plastic/polymer/kydex holsters - old school, I guess. They also seem to stick out too much (the ones I've tried). I do like the ones like the Supertuck type that you can re-holster easily.
I long for the old pig skin lined, real leather holsters.“The Wise are silent, the Foolish speak, and children are thus led astray.”
