How about we take a poll to see if locking up other things would be a good idea?

I already do because it makes sense for my home.
I don't want it to be a law. I don't want to be a criminal if I am working on or cleaning something and decide to leave it out for the night.
Or force someone who is single with no kids and lives alone to go buy a safe because a politician said he has to.You know what kind of people I really don't like?
Other people.

I voted no. We're at 27%.
"constructive possession" is a term used when you have a short shotgun barrel in your closet and a receiver to mount it on. not sure if it would apply here

Even if you lock up your gun, that doesn't make it incapable of being stolen. If they defeat your lock, you'll get arrested and then have to prove that you DID have it locked, but that the crook somehow go it out. This way, you get victimized TWICE! Hurray for government!Ballistic: "Grif... You are my legal eagle spirit animal...."
