    Help: Identifying old Rifle Stock

Curious if anyone can help me identify this old left hand rifle stock. It measure 40" long and if it uses two mounting screws, I would say they are spaced 7-3/4" apart. There doesn't appear to be any markings anywhere on this stock. Thanks.

I don't think they ever made a left hand '03.

That cutout isn't for the bolt, its for the magazine cut off. There's no 'slot' for the straight bolt handle on it.

Thanks for info, it is an 03, Now to figure which variant or era. Was there any years that had no proof marks on them?

remove the but plate and see if there are stamping's in there .also there should be a stamp mark of a letter in the mag cut out area , has two cross pins in stock

It has the two cross pins but no mark in magwell or under backplate.

I think all military 1903 stocks would have some proofs. At least a P circle under the grip heel? And most would have initial cartouches on the left side in front of the grip.
