    Rail mount light?

Any good rail mount lights with a Black Friday/Cyber Monday discount?
(for long gun or SG, not pistol)

Crimson Trace has a sale going on. This link is for rail mounted on long gun. But they have others including pistol.

Tactical Gear.com is having a site-wide sale... including lights.

      Good looking light and inexpensive.

But not so sure about the mounting for the pressure switch. Seems awkward.

Streamlight has really good light options. Not sure about the sales though.

I haven't compared many gun lights at night, but for indoors/close distance, most put out plenty of light. Many years ago a three-letter LE agency said that 90 lumens was enough/minimal for an LE carbine - nowadays, they put 90 lumens on a key chain.

A while back my buddy, who knows much more about weapon lights recommended the 800 lumens Insight, saying that they weren't the best, but very good for the money. Now I have a few and really like them. They are easy, kinda' melt into your fore grip and are somewhat out-of-the-way compared to others - especially those with wired pressure pads of which I have several.

Olights sale should still be going on. I have a couple surefire x300u and my olights are my favorite.

Are these for pistols or long guns?

Both. I have them on my AR and handguns. Never tried it on a shotgun.

I was gonna say Streamlight TLR-1 or TLR HL (super bright, but less runtime) but not seeing them on sale. Those suckers light up the block. I've seen the TLR1 go on sale for around $88.
