  • [Video] Top 5 Most Reliable Guns

Agree or disagree, it's an interesting video.
I particularly like the "Glock is a Toyota" reference.........

    OK. Bring the hate.

LOL, he called Glocks "Toyota Camrys" - I've usually bantered and called them the "Honda Civic" of handguns.

    1. Glock
    2. Uzi
    3. Mauser
    4. Remy 870
    5. Galil (improved AK47)

Can't really argue with those choices....

I'm not that familiar with categories 2 and 4, but it's really hard to argue with 1,3 and 5 choices. Glock, mauser and ak-47. Period.

Weird... the only guns mechanically to fail on me in my stable.... were the 1911 (7th shot slide siezed and had to be re-fit by Dan Wesson) and my Glock 19 Gen 4 (slide stop spring flew out and bricked my gun at around 3,000 rounds)

Really only gun that gives you a bang with 2nd pull of a trigger in the event of a dud round without having to rack a slide or something. That trumps it when your singular criteria is reliability.

Not a category he discussed, so you can't compare apples to oranges, I guess one can argue that single shot guns are the most reliable so revolvers wouldn't qualify anyway ... Either way, aren't most name brand revolvers more or less the same when it comes to reliability? I mean what could go wrong? Besides that you have to think long and hard to find a law enforcement agency and/or military that gives advantange to revolvers over semiautos. Even the mauser/bolt action rifles still have some real life applications (snipers).

The fact that the top 5 were NOT revolvers, refutes that entire video

Would a break open shotgut be most reliable or did I miss a requirement or classification that said semi auto or combat gun?

It's a really weak version of click bait. There are half-assed Top 5 videos all over YouTube because the jerkoffs posting them know it'll get views and comments. Negative comments are as valuable as positive ones. Just gotta have no self respect.
