RIP - Pat Rogers EAG Tactical

Very sad news. I never had the chance to train with Pat, but I know a lot of people that did and he was one of (if not THE) finest firearms instructors on the planet. Rest in peace Pat.

I'm disheartened to be posting today that Pat Rogers, a true pioneer and industry icon has passed away. While I haven't been able to track down anything

I wish this was a joke.

Pat rogers was very active in the high power scene as I was coming up as a junior. I can't tell you the number of Pat stories I have....and i was underage for all of them.

Those of you who know Pat know he was a short guy (some know the Marine recruiter story). Once upon a time when I was 15 he decided my hat was too dirty and took it away from me. My instinct move was to snatch it back and then hold it over his head where he couldn't reach it..........A good laugh was had by all, though he did remark to Rone that he had to fight the urge to punch me in the stomach to get the hat back. Lesson learned on my side.

Sad news indeed. We are diminished.
