    72 years ago today....

72 years ago today our greatest generation began the liberation of Europe and I don't see one damn mention of it anywhere. Just a quick glance through Newsday, fox News, NBC, etc....nothing. Maybe I am old but this is something no American should ever forget, it is one of the pivotal moments in our nation's history.

"The amphibious landings were preceded by extensive aerial and naval bombardment and an airborne assault—the landing of 24,000 American, British, and Canadian airborne troops shortly after midnight. Allied infantryand armoured divisions began landing on the coast of France at 06:30..... German casualties on D-Day were around 1,000 men. Allied casualties were at least 10,000, with 4,414 confirmed dead." (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normandy_landings)

Every one of these 24,000 heroes answered the call, and we shall never forget.

Spend 3 minutes and watch a retired medic describe this d-day memory.

Not a word on Fox about this most important day in our history but TONS of frantic alerts about Ali the 'hero', the 'greatest', blah blah blah...

              How pathetic

The liberal media does NOT want to recognize any military folk. These men that fought WWII was the greatest generation. European theater was bad but, the Pacific theater was a living nightmare.

Maybe if the thousands of men we lost that day were running for president or were transgender they would get some recognition. For the media they are just not current news cycle worthy. There will be a blurb here and there but not nearly enough for their ultimate sacrifices, disgusting

Just like Ali being a hero, not a wussy who would not go to war. Media sucks................

They've talked about it on Fox Business Radio. I'm sure It'll be on Fox News Network later tonight since they mention it every year.
