DAY OF WELLNESS ONLINE REG 2016.pdf

This weekend is the 3rd annual Day of Family Wellness hosted by the Joseph Dwyer Veterans Peer Support Program.
Reiki, Yoga, Accupuncture, Massage, Meditation, Service and Companion Animals....many, many services and programs that have a strong emphasis on alternatives to traditional treatment of PTSD and other issues. There has been a strong record of successes in assisting vets transition from meds, including narcotics and pain management meds.
We love having veterans at this event but we really love having family members and other loved ones. Nearly 90% of veterans with mental health, alcohol and substance abuse problems are initially referred by others, it is uncommon for the vet to take that initial step.

cant get the flyer to post...stay tuned.
Bonus - Texas Roadhouse is catering the BBQ lunch..

I just want to through out there, Joe Dwyer was my next door neighbor. We went to high school together. He proudly served and sadly succumbed to the agony of PTSD back stateside. It was a dark road. No Vet should have to walk this road.
