    WW1 ended 100 years ago

So next week we will observe the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice. On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the guns fell silent.

Seems like one way we can remember the brave men and boys who fought that Great War would be to start a thread showing off our WW1 firearms. Some of you guys and ladies have drool worthy collections, let’s see the WW1 examples.

I’ll start w a Hotchkiss 1914, 8mm machine gun. A century later the action still cycles like butta.
I’ll take a better pic of it tomorrow.

No firearms. I do have this though.

My Grandfather. Who, as I've heard, was too young to sign-up and my Great Grandfather had to go retrieve him. An eastern European immigrant who's family, when they came over, lived in what was a horse stable. And, if asked, would tell you he's an American. I remember him telling me on a few occasions, none of his friends came home.
