Naming a street for a hero

Suffolk County is renaming Rocky Point Road in Miller Place in honor of SSgt Louis "Bones " Bonacasa tomorrow morning. Anyone who can stop in and show support to the family please do.
Staging at 1030 for 1100 ceremony at 63 Miller Place-Yaphank Rd. There is a church there, the ceremony will take place on the east side of that property which also fronts onto Rocky Point Rd.
This is about 1 mile North of Middle Country Rd.

SSgt Bonacasa's widow, daughter, parents, sister, Servicemembers from his Unit, the 105th ARW, County Executive Bellone, Legislator Anker, VFW, American Legion, Patriot Guard Riders and others will be there.

SSgt Bonacasa sacrificed his own life to save many others last December. Google his name and read the story of what he did. The man is a true hero.

I think they ran out of road names when they got to that area. They are all very similar. I believe the address of that church is 63 Miller Place-Yaphank Rd

        Rest in Peace SSgt Bonacasa
