Life Lessons from a Navy Seal - Admiral McRaven

Now retired Admiral William McRaven gave a commencement speech at the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. He last served as the ninth commander of U.S. Special Operations Command.

Admiral McRaven is credited with organizing and executing “Operation Neptune Spear” which took out Bin Laden.

Admiral McRaven gave 10 “simple” life lessons which are entitled:

    Lesson #1: Make Your Bed

Lesson #2: Find Someone To Help

    Lesson #3: Measure By Heart

    Lesson #4: Keep Moving Forward

    Lesson #5: Don't Be Afraid

    Lesson #6: Slide Head First

    Lesson #7: Don't Back Down

    Lesson #8: Be Your Best

Lesson #9: Sing In The Mud

    Lesson #10: Never Give Up

The speech is definitely worth watching and is short.

Each lesson is individually embedded below.
