Ugh have to pull over 1000. Bullets

i was checking my powder drop it was dropping 4gn of tite group 2-3 times then another would drop 1.9 gn.

i had bought tite group powder that was open. I emptied the powder drop and notice a little piece of the top seal.
so that was throwing of the powder charge. I'm not sure if I want to pull them or throw them away

I pulled 20 bullets I found 2 with the lite charge. Where can u throw away live rounds

I hate to waste them but I can reload 1000 bullets in 2 hours

I had a few cases that didn't receive powder. I just shot them till I found a squib and cleared it. Eventually cleared out the batch

I have unknowingly shot some. That's why I thought my sites were of. They have enough powder to shoot them out. But who knows. No need to risk it I will do a hundred at a time

Make great rounds for 'Tap, Rack, Bang' drills . I got some CCI quiet .22 ammo, it shoots well in a bolt gun and clears the barrel without any squib issues but won't cycle the action or eject from a semiauto. So my son and I mix it in with other practice ammo and use it for malfunction drills.

You have to keep checking your powder. I check and re check every 100 when I run out of primers. This way if there's an issue you only have batches of 100.

This happened to be a fluke. It seems that little piece of paper would block some powder from some loads only. Others were fine. They are all pulled now. I would say only about 10-15 percent were lite. Another lesson learned
