Anyone have any experiences ordering from this company? Good or bad. They have remanufactured ammo for sale.
Any opinions from people who may have used it? Thanks.
They are about all I use for handgun ammo these days. Only reman, and I'm talking in the neighborhood of 10K rounds. As accurate as anything else. Not one single malfunction. There are plenty of new ammo companies I can't say that about.
They usually run free/discounted shipping around major holidays, which often makes them a home run. Just don't expect it quick. It's usually coming from ND or WA, and will take a few days to get here. If I need ammo quickly, I look at Target Sports USA. Excellent prices, and comes from CT. Often get it in two days.
Only ammo I have been using for the last 2 years, 9mm and 223 - both new and reman - no issues at all - get on their mailing list for free shipping notifications. Every holiday the do free shipping.
Just a heads up: FM's NEW manufacture 9mm cases have some sort of ring at the interior base. Not sure what the purpose is, maybe to combat "Glock bulge"?

If you plan on reloading, it may affect your powder measurements. Most reloaders I've talked to will not use them. As far as I know, it's only used in their NEW 9mm.
I've also ordered and shot thousands of rounds from Freedom with zero malfunctions. I've only ordered NEW ammo (9mm 124 gr RN & 45 ACP 230 gr RN)... the price savings of reman vs. new is marginal. FYI, I don't reload at this time so that doesn't factor into my decision either.
You can save on the more expensive rounds (40 S&W, 45 ACP vs. 9mm) if you watch for their sales and reduced S&H promos... I just ordered 1,000 rounds of 45 ACP (230 gr RN) for $254.50 out the door in the beginning of this month (5% off 230 gr ammo promo combined with the reduced S&H promo of $7.50). The best I've seen for the same ammo (cheap factory) elsewhere is $300 with free S&H (TargetsportsUSA) for 1,000 rounds (Blazer, etc.).

It's also been known to have the case split in PCC and get lodged in the chamber. The 45 ACP doesn't have this ring but the 9mm does. Because of that I will no longer purchase the 9mm new ammo.
I have used multiple calibers new and used from Freedom Munitions. No issues and they seem to rotate 5% off and/or free shipping specials. The stuff usually arrives in 5-7 days.
I have shot their new, reloads, and blaster series(blems) in 9mm and reloads and new in 380acp with no issues. They also have a brass credit program that you can send in used brass and be credited $1.45 per pound (last time I looked) which I usually send in a medium size priority box weighing about 32 lbs which breaks down to about 3 free boxes of 9mm. The only problem that I have had is that they changed their web site and the new one is terrible(which customer service agree with) so I would follow up with a call after ordering as they lost all my info for shipping etc.
I agree with all of the above written comments posted already. I have shot the 9mm, 40, 45, 44mag, and the .223. I mostly shoot the reman stuff, and to date, have had ZERO problems with any of it. And yes, the best value that they have, is on .45ACP, when it's on sale AND with free shipping during a lot of the holiday promo's. Note*** New customers get free shipping, so MAKE IT COUNT! If you shoot with a regular group, take turns pooling up your orders, and signing up to get the free shipping. Just added 2cents.
