        It's not a heel release, it's a button release at the bottom of the group instead off next to the trigger guard

          Oops! You're right! - I went by NRATC's "Lower mag release" and yep... assumed... And knowing Riceboy's hands was trying to save him hassle... I've got one with that button too - still find it a PITA, but not as bad as a heel release.

            how available are the 10 round mags for this as they are not the standard FS mags? This is the only thing that has held me back from getting one

              Right one works fine -- left is a little wonky --

                  I thought the same exact thing. I hear lower release, and automatically think of my Browning BDA's heel release.

                    Actually -- the only difficulty is the left hand strength to pull back the slide -- so I use the right -- no biggie -- everybody got that -- LOL

                        Aha, Italian made in .380 correct? Mine is the Sig based/made P220 in .45. It was my first .45, waay too good a deal to pass up, and like new in the factory box.
