The Ginex SP primers work just fine for me in 9mm loads. As to being a "hard" primer, they seem no different in my pistol than the CCI SP's I use.
I have a Glock 48 with a reduced-power Striker spring, Blogs (down from stock OEM #5.5) and the G48 has no trouble setting them off, just like it works with the CCI's.
Also a Glock 19x with a reduced-power Groups pound spring and perfect ignition every time.
My Sigs and CZ's,....perfect ignition.

I've shot 10-15k of these primers in my shadow 2 with an 11.5# main spring. It ignited fine for all.
I did read that primer depth adjustment is helpful for these primers, I have an 1100 so that likely helped my case also.
SAO guns like my atlas or most 1911/2011 platform guns will ignite small rifle primers even without issue as well.-Rob Epifania
