BFD email from Midway

Got this email from Midway last night. Apparently their lawyers told them that it's now OK for them to ship ammo to ffls. Big effin deal because just about anything they have can be found elsewhere for cheaper shipping and lower hazmat prices. I don't deal with them anymore but for anyone who does there ya go.
ETA: this is the first ammo sales to NY since December 2012 by Midway. Let that be your guide.

I used to order from them before the internet. (Alright I know I'm up there in age) Used the order form in the catalog and 2 weeks later my package showed up. Prices were great back then.

Prices were great and they had everything listed in the catalog in stock, unlike today. Back then we mailed them a personal check, LoL.

I try not to order from them if at all possible, but I have bought from them a couple times in recent years when they were the only source.

I used to order from them A LOT. And had for 20-25 years in total, from way before I was on the internet. At one point on their website you could look back at all your old orders. One day for the heck of it I started to add them up, that was a mistake. When the total started getting close to what I was making a year at the time (with PLENTY of orders left to go), I stopped adding. So I can say when they lost me as a regular customer, they lost a lot.

What did it for me was when they stopped the small token FFL/gunsmith discount. It wasn't as much about the money as the idea. So in the last ten years I've spent in total what in years past I would have spent in a month or two back then.

(and it's only that high because I bought a bunch of close out winter clothing last year, otherwise it would be almost nothing)

Between them treating like red headed step children after unSAFE showed up, gouging on prices when .22 was scarce and their general DGAF (IMO) about NY gun owners in general I’ve never warmed back up to them.
