Lock time. Glock 19 vs 1911

Damn, I hate to fan the fires of Glock lovers, but the results are the results.

Ummmm, 0.022 sec difference? I'll still take the 1911.

Ok, always into reading and learning, I never heard of lock time so I had to bing it. Very interesting results. Great videos. Truth be told, I must admit my first time out with a 1911 (I forget which model) yielded much better results, not to mention the comfort in handling when a friend let me use his. I'm still sticking with my baby though.

I'm going to hell for this post.

Thanks Joe! You stir the pot like no one else. lol, keep up the good work!

              There is no debate.
Want to shoot targets or competition go 1911
If your life is on the line go Glock.

              Pretty simple.

Lock time can be very important, but not if you're comparing apples to oranges. lol

                  Glocks are great, entry-level guns.

I like Glocks I have a 20sf as a matter of fact, the problem is in the summer time when its hot out and you wear them small of back and drive a while, the guns get soft and mushy like chocolate on a hot day. There is just nothing worse than having to draw and coming up with a soft melted gun at crunch time.

Hell, if worse come to worst and repeatedly shooting the threat doesn't stop them, with a 1911 you can beat them into submission.
