    Ruger Mark IV target....

Had an itch for a .22 target pistol and picked up a Mark IV target. What a fun gun to shoot. Put about 500 rounds through it, had a few FTF's and a stovepipe or two once it was dirty, but apart from that, the gun ran flawlessly. Unlike Mark xx pistols of earlier vintage, this one has a one-button takedown and can be broken down in less than 5 seconds. Really liked it.

My brother has one and loves it. Meanwhile I can give my Mark 3 away. LOL

Agreed, the MKIV is a definite winner for sure. My MKII will not see much action in the future. You cannot beat the one button breakdown.

These guys make kits to convert your MKI,II or III to easy takedown pistols. I've seen the kit it works well, it's not elegant.

Has been on my "to-do" list for quite a while now. Having a MKIV now moves it even lower on the list.

I have two Mark III's, a Volquartsen and a TacSol. Neither gets shot, only shoot my BuckMarks. I'm likely buying a new MkIV soon. Too bad my old guns are worthless these days.
