And so this great journey begins....

    (Picture sans magazine)

Every 20+ handgun collection starts with the first..... Here's my first, a Ruger SR22. Little or no recoil so I can work on my fundamentals. Purchased from Campsite yesterday, did the Yakhank shuffle today. Taking it to Brookhaven tomorrow afternoon........ I'M JAZZED about this little peashooter!

I decided to postphone my 9mm (P226) purchase until after the next meetup. "You might wanna try various guns before you buy your 9mm"..... Sound advice from other LIGC members.

Not a bad idea... I'm still considering a .22LR pistol or a .22LR caliber x-change kit... enjoy it and have fun tomorrow!

I feel left out when the .22LR ammo alerts are posted!

If it's ever a Glock, get a G19... love mine.

A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks. -Thomas Jefferson

Get a Glock 17 or 19. Then get no other 9mm handguns because that's all you need.

                              Want a .45 ACP? Get a Glock 21.

Want a compact carry? Get a Glock 42/43.

Want to build a race gun? Get a Glock 34.

The point is sticking with one family of guns means you only need to practice and drill on one manual of arms. Plus nothing is more reliable than a Glock.
