    couldn't resist

out of the corner of my eye...
picked this 229 piranha up yesterday. PVK finish should be durable but maybe have to keep it in the box unless shooting to avoid holster wear.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

I'm not usually a colorized gun guy but I like it. The trigger and grip screw details are a nice touch. Enjoy and happy shooting.

Why? Nice balance between melted, molded, injected plastic and real gun metal.

This from a guy with a safe full of guns that look like the "2am closing time fat girl". Sure, she'll give you a good blowjob every time, but she isn't much to look at.

Congratulations! It looks great. I would see what the warranty is on the finish, and also verify that you could safely make a warranty claim without an exclusion for normal use. If they give you any kind of decent amount of time, without you getting burned by any wear and tear type stuff, it might be well worth it to see how it does hold up. I doubt the pamphlet that came with it will have enough for you to bank on. If I left the booklets under the foam, which I try to do, I can see what I can find on my last two Sigs. One was a Nitron finish, and the other came in FDE, but I think it was Nitron too. They are doing that from the factory? Or was it customized, or was it both, customized by them in NH? I know they dabbled in some colored slides before, but never saw anything like that from them. I am asking because I truly like it a lot!
