  • Glock Factory Night Sight Installation (Form Attached)

Just got 2 slides back from Smyrna, GA. Turn around time 10 days. As an added bonus, if you send them a stripped slide they'll return it with all new internals.

    Shipped to Glock 4/23
    Arrived at Glock 4/25
    CC charged 5/1
    Slides received 5/3

Cost was $57+tax per slide for the sights and installation. This also includes return shipping.

Fill out below form and mail it in with your slide. I mailed 2 slides in a USPS small flat rate box +insurance.

    Here is the form

Does that $57 include the cost of the sights.

Yes it does. Also remove your old sights before shipping if you wish to keep them.

Had four slides done a few months ago. Easy peasy. Got them all back cleaned, with new guts, just like he said.

Just for an FYI, Glock makes the steel for their night sights, and Meprolight makes the iridium.

What were they being sent in for in the first place?

I sent both in just for the sights. The G22 had the stock plastic sights and the G19 had dead night sights that needed to be replaced.

Maybe not. If for some reason somebody wants to keep those crappy plastic u-notch sights, or any others they may want to keep. take them off. Glock will not return them.

What is "Frame Upgrade" on that form? Also, what color are the night sights?

I think thats when someone gets overly aggressive "home stippling" the shit out of there frame and either burns a hole clean through it or worse! whoopsie time for new frame...

I thought frame upgrade was to replace Gen 1 and 2's to Gen 3... Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Obviously serial #'s will not match.

I believe the upgrade is a change from Gen2 to Gen3 frame, if desired, or replacement for a non-defective broken frame. Glock doesn't care for modified frames, or anything else for that matter. I think if you stippled your frame, and sent the gun back because it's not functioning correctly (happens, let's not start the "Perfection" jokes and comments) Glock will put your gun together on a new frame and charge the upgrade fee.

I sent two guns back to Glock. One for light primer strikes, and my Gen2 for updates/tune up. Both had the "minus" 3.5 pound connectors. I got them back with the standard 5 pound connectors installed. The only reason I got the 3.5 connectors back were because they were factory Glock. If they were polished, or from any aftermarket company, Glock will not return them. The only aftermarket part they will not change out are sights.

The nights sights are green front and rear. There are no other options.

+1 to the OP, didn't even know Glock offered this. Decent sights for an good price, can't beat it.

Finally got around to it, just got off my lazy ass and sent some slides in for night sights. Looking forward to getting them back.

Not knocking the deal but it's really closer to $70.00 when you include GA state sales tax that GLock charges and shipping expense to Glock.
