Where to buy black powder pistol kits.

I believe they can be shipped to your house. As long as you don’t have the components to make them fire. Then I believe they need to be on your pistol license.

I’m sure others will be along to correct anything I may have misstated.

your pretty correct , as of now no regulations to prevent them from being mailed to your house , outside of nyc
you can have two of the three components to fire it , as soon as you have the third on the license it must go

About 2 years ago -- I bought one fully assembled and FeDex delivered it --

It was ------ a B/P by itself was ok ---- then If it was loaded - then considered a handgun ---

Then ---if you have two of the three components to fire it , as soon as you have the third on the license it must go --

( so if you had all 3 --- do you waltz into Yaphank with a loaded revolver or just a bag of parts -- L )

Then ---- if you just had all the components to fire it -- balls / flint or caps & powder -- then its considered a handgun --

The law might have changed in the last 20 minutes --

The current law ( whatever it currently is ) will change as soon as some bozo uses one in a crime --

Once upon a time -- out in Yaphank -- I asked the head on the other side of the lexan -- if he ever had / saw a black powder shoved on to a licence --- he said -- him personally -- No - but it happens --

Many moons ago --- many - many - many - moons ago while driving for Green & White taxi in Swindlehurst --- I took the overnight guy to his booth at a gas station --- he had a B/P - bird's head grip - 2" barrel -- .38 - I think - what they call a "Bar Keeps Revolver -- jammed in his shorts --

When you have all the components to fire it and you go to put it on your license don’t you need a background check before they put it on your license?
