    shooting my sw500

put a leupold scope on my 500 sw i intend to go deer hunting this year with it.

i cast some 440 grain lead bullets from a lee mould and i used the minimum trailboss powder load from the hogdon website 7 grain

well the gun shoots like a heavy 45 acp round.

what a pleasure to practice with. i only loaded 20 rounds thinking that would be enough shooting with all that recoil.

i was wrong i just purhased 100 brass cases for it.

a lot of fun to shoot love the b ig holes in the target.

of course i will have to readjust the scope for the heavier rounds

one of these days i would think about it if it came in a super redhawk . my little 454 give the 500 a interesting run. 500 is a little more snappy , but the srh is more violent.
and the deers do not know the difference

Maybe we could merge this thread with the raccoon removal thread and have an LIG meet up.
