    Commissioned by Eastern Airlines in the early 70's, developed by a Colt subsidiary in Jericho NY.

      Pretty cool.
      They didn't need to protect the plaster from moisture if it was hardened. Especially if they mixed it with a little lime.
      Of course, the projectile may not have disintegrated on impact then
      "Get a Dog. Cause Cats Are For Bitches!"

          My Dad worked for EAL in the 70's+80's until they were scuttled, going to have to ask him about this. Interesting stuff.

              Deputized pilots now carry HK VP40's and shoot 180gr federal HST JHP ammo. They will be switching to Glock 19s late this yr or next.
