I have not gotten that far yet. I am eyeing the new lower price point McMillian stocks, their Grayboe line.

Nothing has been decided just yet. This is only the beginning.

I already have a Savage 110 LA 30.06 that I converted to a SA with a bolt mod, a tactical stock, adjustable cheek rest, Harris Bipod, the action was bedded with JB Weld, 308 chambered CDI Varmit barrel, inlayed DBM, extened bolt handle, 20moa rail, med height rings and 10x Bushnell Elite mill/mill glass. That is all I can recall offhand.

            What's a "carbon bolt"?

My understanding is that is basically an molded stock as opposed to epoxy fill in a fiberglass shell. Should be interesting.

It is a regular steel bolt but has a finish to simulate carbon fiber type look.

                        Cool beans.

I've never heard it called that- normally jeweled or engine turned.

The actions are sometimes called "carbon steel" ie blue, or stainless.

There are two types of people in this world. People that think the Goverment is looking out for their best interest and people that just think !

Maybe the picture was wrong and you are right. We shall see when it comes in next week. Either way, no biggie.
