    Crazy Interesting Movie Rifle

You will all remember the original Star Wars Blaster was made from a Luger.

Now we have a really cool conversion from an Enfield rifle on Mars. This super modern looking 'assault rifle" vibe weapon is actually made from what appears to be an ordinary British style Enfield No 4.
I can't find the exact model anywhere online, by hopefully it will show up on IMFDB soon. The movie takes place on a Mars colony in the far off future. (Settlers, released in 2021)

In one scene, you can see the hollow bolt handle knob and the user pops out the Enfield mag to reload.

The movie is not great, but the rifle is great! It seems to have a shrouded barrel, maybe designed to help disguise the origin of the weapon. And yes, the movie was made by a British film company.

      Han’s blaster was a Mauser C96.

And Star Wars was chock full of awesome guns.

When they kick out your front door
      How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun?

Hollow bolt handle? Likely was originally a Jungle Carbine.

google Lee Enfield pistol grip and you get a bunch of wacky designs in the images

My favorite movie gun will always be the PKD from Blade Runner.
          Talk about a mashup.

Yup, starting in the Rogue movies the handgun was a Luger, not the original, sorry.

You can even see the Luger slide fly back and up in some of the video.
