NYPD hunts ‘idiot’ drivers seen in viral video shutting down Kosciuszko Bridge to burn rubber doing donuts

Cops are hunting for of a group of “idiot” drivers seen in a viral video shutting down the Kosciuszko Bridge to burn rubber doing donuts in the middle of the span, NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea said Tuesday.

The brazen stunt took place just before 6 p.m. Nov. 14, cops said. Video shows a “Fast & Furious” sports car spinning across all three bridge lanes, burning tire lines into the asphalt.

“Unfortunately there’s no shortage of idiots these days,” Shea said Monday of the stunt.

Know your rights/Refuse peacefully to consent to a search /Ask if you are free to go or are being detained/Even if you are not doing anything wrong the 4th Amendment protects you against unreasonable searches/Never say anything to law enforcement even if you think it will help you/If questioned you should clearly and unequivocally request that you would like to have an attorney present and defer any questions until then/Never go to prison because you are afraid to go to jail.

No, they're not idiots, they are SCUMBAGS! And when/if they get caught, they should be taken back to the bridge, and shoved off the side.

No reason to not be a douche in the city. No consequences, so they are in no way disincentivized. Seize cars, fine massively and lock em up….but that would be racist or bad for the environment or something.

I actually don't mind seeing NYC become more unlivable and uncivilized. I say let the place burn.

But the most unwanted repercussion is more liberals fleeing g the city to occupy suburban NY!

          “Hunting”

I never knew hunting meant totally forgetting about it and moving on.

The escape is complete. The inventor of Hawk fishing. (soon to be seen on ESPN 8 the Ocho)

I believe the term you are looking for is "Global Climate Change". That covers everything.

Typical. Some people just don't know how to behave.

More defunding of the NYPD should fix this.

This example, and others even more serious will have to get shoved up the politicians asses to make any difference. Like yesterdays story of a teenager getting shot in the neck while walking to school, by a scumbag with a lengthy rap sheet, who's already out on bond for illegal weapons crimes. Just out on $1000 bond, and commits another gun crime by almost killing an innocent kid. The police gave an awesome speech( imho), right there at the scene. It's contents really hit home, in explaining this as a prime example of what's wrong with the system.

No fear of punishment or retaliation. The scum have no reason to behave.

Politicians are mostly upper class. Real crime hardly reaches the middle and upper classes. So little will be done until crime somehow reaches them.

It is as it has always been.

At least when I was young we waited until 2 am to close the Clearview for our 1/4 miles.
