    I was at a 2 day class with Kyle DeFoor, former DEV GRU operator and he talked about this incident extensively. I hope this cop gets some real training in hand to hand.

      wow the perp new a bit about grappling.
      tough job being a cop. he was not expecting the guy to turn and hit him.
      truth is not all cops can beat up all criminals sometimes cops have to go up against experienced fighters with nothing to lose.

              Yep, the gun went off. I say "went off" because we don't know if the officer discharged it or the perp did. In another version of the video, the one that Defoor showed us and critiqued, they say the officer fired it to scare off the perp. More likely, the perp was trying to take the gun and the officer was fighting him for it and one of them tapped the trigger.
