White House placed on brief lockdown: reports

The White House was placed on a brief lockdown Tuesday afternoon, after an unauthorized man jumped a fence along the perimeter of the presidential residence, according to multiple reports.
According to reporters inside the White House's Brady Briefing Room, Secret Service personnel initiated the lockdown around 4:00 p.m. ET after the possible jumper.
The lockdown was lifted less than 30 minutes later after security officials deemed the situation to not be threatening, CBS News reported.
