my 05 dodge Dakota keeps throwing a 700 code transmission code. I need a transmission guy to read and repair the tranny. Anyone?

Does the truck do anything when it pops the code or does it drive like normal?
I don't think its the same problem due to motor / trans differences, but my father's truck was on 02 ram 1500 with a 5.2 and he had multiple repeat issues with his converter cracking. Happened once under warranty then two more time out of warranty (that dodge ultimately covered anyway).
But like I said, I doubt its the same issue.
