Static on the radio after installing LED lights on my car.

Finished wiring up the led floods on my car and now I have static on the AM band.
Been reading that ferrite beads on the power wires can help.
    Anyone have other suggestions?

Maybe you need a ground loop isolator. (Not joking here)

Did you get them from Vycor?

Cheap RF frequency emitting Chinese LEDS?

The ferrite may help , what would help more is like a 0.1 micro farad cap on the power line to ground along with the ferrite.

I may be able to scrounge up some of this type stuff if it's not available easily to you

Ok, finding parts isn't an issue (well, more of an issue now that Radio Shack is gone).
How do I wire that up?

Yep, didn't want an expensive commitment if I didn't like it. For under $20 I ain't gonna complain much.

I may just go to a 'normal' incandescent fog light if this doesn't work out...

Nope. If I did there would be much more bitching and moaning.

Use a Ferrite core, wrap the wires around it and see if the RF dissipates...

One that's still around is in Wantaugh (past Belmore) on Sunrise

wind your power feed around the ferite ring. You may be able to cut the ferrite out of a old video cable
