    Car batteries.

Any member here in the auto parts/accessory business, (or can recommend a good place)? Need a new battery for my car, would rather throw business to a business owner rather than a box store.

Let your mechanic get it for you. Get a glass matt battery. They handle cold better and can sit longer without charges.

My cars are always outside. Sometimes they don’t get used for more than a week.

Last time I needed one for my car I got a Boche from Pep Boys.
Our mechanic put an Interstate into my wife's car last year after the alternator failed.

Some newer cars need them. My 2019 Acura does. In the future, chances are all cars will. A lot of new (mostly luxury cars for now) have auto-engine cutoff and restart when you come to a full stop. That way, they can claim an extra mile or two per gallon for the fleet to meet CAFE standards. You might notice some cars restarting at traffic lights.

Fact is, 12V just isn't enough anymore to power all the electronic shit in newer cars. I've heard for years about cars going to 24 or 42 volts.

Get the highest rated battery that will fit in your car. And change it as soon as you notice it struggling at all. It's always better to change a battery a month too soon than a day too late.

Trade secret... Company I works for gets nasty low prices from our supplier, and I'd be happy to pay that forward to you guys. PM me with year/make/model/engine and I'll shoot you some numbers.
