Thinking of heading to Cupsogue Beach???

Tired of waiting for Smith Point to open, and I didnt bother to get the state 4x4 pass this year because I intended to go to Smith Point......

I assume I can get my County sticker right at the beach?
Can you drive right up to the beach? The boss is pregnant and wont be any help carrying anything or walking very far
We wont be able to head out until 11:30-12, how bad is the traffic getting to and from that beach?

Are there any better options? Town beaches maybe?

Where did you launch. Maple Ave town ramp? I was fishing the east cut by the campers until high tide. Probably passed each other. Lots of people out on the water today. It was beautiful out. No keeper fluke and I can't even count how many sea robins

Launch from the Brookhaven town ramp at Forge River in Mastic Beach. Never launched from Maple Ave, looks a lot closer by water, maybe I should try it next time.
