This is not my week for vehicles! I hate car problems!

I bought a new truck to avoid headaches, not keep them going! WTF!
    Anyway
Saturday driving home from the range my 2015 ram 3500 6.7 kicks on a CEL. Get it scanned by auto zone and I get code p20ee. Searching truck forums this most likely is going to result in s new SCR. I made an appointment with hunting dodge (where I bought it) but I can't get it there till Thursday so the wait is just eating at me.
Has anyone here dealt with this problem? Decent shops to take care of it? What to expect?
To top it off, were supposed to be leaving for a kids mini vacation to sesame place and digger land and this morning my wife's Santa Fe kicks on a CEL and ESC light. No throttle, 5 mph max speed. Trip postponed, kids crying. FML.
Had Santa Fe towed to local mechanic. No word yet.
    Help, advice, experiences?

Chrysler has had a rash of CEL issues with the Jeep Wrangler. Maybe it's not just the Wrangler? Mine was at 100 miles when it threw a P0300 code.

this may sound strange but check the tire pressure in the Santa Fe some cars if the tire pressure shows too low restrict the speed you can go

Did that last night along with all the fluids. Brought all the tires up to 40 psi. (One was low 28 psi). If the car stopped working because of tire pressure and that's the best way the manufacturer could figure out to relay that information to me I'm going to lose it. I'm all for the computerized systems but holy shit, are we not more advanced than codes that could be one of 30 possible problems? And two little light bulbs

It's basically a diesel catalytic converter. New on 2013 and newer dodge Rams. It stands for Selective Catylitic Reduction. It's the component the DEF fluid (piss water) is sprayed into to turn all the bad for the environment shit into eco friendly shit.

No drivability issues but with these DEF systems sometimes the truck can go into limp mode limiting you to 5mph . Not a chance I can take 300 miles away with the family as an added Responsibility. If it was hunting season I'd be well on my way praying for a reason to stay longer.

Wife's car is back sooner than expected....bad throttle position sensor so says the mechanic. Hopefully he was right and I don't have to go back. We'll see what happens with the truck. Do I have to take it to a dealer for warranty work or can I go anywhere? I'm new to this as I come from an age when you fix your own car when stuff breaks.

Mercedes ML55 would not start if THE TAILLIGHTS were blown.... Feel better? see how much more aggravating it could be? Yep - no "you're taillight is out" idiot light - just a no-start. (shit morons, maybe I'm 200 miles from a parts store where I could get a bulb...)

Did you check the gas cap?

Toyota will light up ESC lights with a loose gas cap I don't know about Hyundai but it only takes a minute to check
