If you use Hotmail and POP3 you need to read this
If you use a POP3 application to access your Hotmail or Live.com or Outlook.com email you may have noticed today or in recent days you can't log in!
You can log in from the web but not from your pop3 application.
Had me going crazy all day with it. Searching around a lot of people all over the world have bee having the problem for weeks.
Finally found out MS made a change to Outlook.com that impacted Hotmail too.
But the fix is easy.
Just sign into Hotmail (or Live or Outlook) via the web, go to Tools->Options and click on the POP3 link. From there you have to manually turn on POP3 access for each of your accounts individually. Once you save it then the POP3 app should work as before.
