Small engine geek needed

1 year old pressure washer won't start. Honda engine, replaced spark plug today, filled w fresh gas, fuel is flowing.
I tried spraying starter fluid into the air cleaner and it starts for a few seconds then stalls.

Am I missing anything? Need this puppy running.

If it's starting with the ether, then you have the spark and compression, but you do not have fuel flowing, at least where it's going to do any good etc. Even if you think that running it dry last season was good enough, it's not. You never really get all of the gas out of the bowl, and leaves just enough to make your life hell. If you are so inclined, please post a picture showing the Carb. There might be a drain screw on the bottom of the bowl, which you can remove to confirm fuel flow through the needle/seat assy from the fuel tank. If you have it there, and it still doesn't start, remove the bowl to inspect the condition/cleanliness of the bowl and main jet. If you pull the bowl, and it's full of really ugly crude, the carb will have to come off for a detailed strip and clean and the bare minimum. Good luck.
