    Shed

looking to get a shed. Would like it to be roughly 6'x8' and tall enough to fit my lanky ass in. Any places that have them reasonably priced? Steel, plastic, wood...not picky

What does 'tall enough' require? I think you'll have a problem with most typical sheds... barely 6 feet inside. Lowe's has a bunch in their lot, and I think some of those may be normal 8' high.

I'm 6'2". Something where I don't have to duck like crazy. Most of the time I'll be in there will be in a seated position but it would be nice not to bump my head

Don't get that stupid barn shaped she'd like I did! You lose so much room in it.

Definitely build it, it's easier than it looks. Especially at those dimensions.

I bought a compound miter saw and the lumber and built a shed for a lot less than the installed price, and a lot better shed
Take a young person shooting.... Take 2 or more if you can...

6 x 8 you can get some nice resin ones like mine at Costco or order online and they'll deliver.
As you know, they need a good base.
If you need help putting it together just give me a call.

Steel gets way way too hot and rusts. Wood is the best but the resin ones aren't bad.

They had a 6 x 8 in Costco a few weeks ago. But I don't see it on their website.

Home Depot has this one which they will ship to your home for free. It's 88 inches tall. So about 7 1/4 feet Everett 8 ft. x 6 ft. Resin Storage Shed $649.00

                      I just saw this post.
If you're using it for more than storage and working in it I would really recommend a wooden shed.
Much cooler in spring and summer.
Put a couple of air vents in the bottm and top so it drawers air in and up, cooling it off.
You can also put up some insulation if you're going to use it in winter.

So does he, but brass scrounging won't get a shed built...

I built my two sheds from scratch. Didn't like the kits with the 2x3 construction 24 on center. If you need siding I have about 2 squares of blue dutchlap sitting in my backyard
