"Feel the Johnson" is something that happened to a friend of mine in a bar in Sandy Eggo a long time ago when he was on liberty. It didn't end well, lots of Shore Patrol involved. He and his two buddies were young and stupid and thought the name of the bar "Queens" had something to do with geography...Their Captain was not amused

My grandfather was in the Navy during the Korean War. When he was stationed in San Francisco, he and a few his buddies went out bar hopping. He was the scout. Found a place that looked busy and he popped in. When he went in he said all he saw was guys, and he thought "where are all the girls at?" That's when a guy approached him and said "Hey sailor, come on in." He said he never turned around and ran so fast in his life. Always crack up when I hear that story.
Sounds like your friend had a similar experience 60 years later.“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are." - Benjamin Franklin

Same thing happened to a friend (yes a friend!) of mine when we were stationed in Mississippi around '78, only it happened in New Orleans. I wasn't there but I heard what happened after wasn't pretty!
