    Hey Knife Freaks ??????

Curious what real knife guys think are needed to have a proper selection of higher end knife brands ? Any help with brands is appreciated, also needs to be brands that people can afford and buy regularly. I do understand the knife guys will buy $300 or $400 knives. I have a pretty regular knife customer who has told me the only brand he feels is really represented on Long Island is Benchmade.

I pretty much just buy Benchmade as well, I've had a lot of good luck with them... that said, I just picked up 3 CRKT knives because I was looking for something small like a neck knife and they appear to be okay quality, but they are made in China.

Hinderer (personal favorite), Strider and Criss Reeve are one of the higher end knives. I have multiple Hinderers and I can attest, they are highest quality knives you can own.

I love my Spyderco ParaMilitary 2 it is literally the best knife I own (I own too many knives). It keeps a razor edge and sharpens on the Sharpmaker in a couple of minutes

Big Spyderco fan. Kershaw, Gerber, Cold Steel, CRKT are all standard fare. I would like to see some ZT and Benchmade as well. Boker is just OK IMHO. Depends on how crazy you want to get.
Your biggest challenge is how you will compete price wise with Amazon.

Looking to bring in ZT and some more spydercos. Waiting on the reps to give me a call back. I will have to look into the Criss Reeve and Hinderer line.

I usually use junk as I beat them to tears.
Picked up a Benchmade as a gift for someone last year and it's one heck of a nice knife.

Benchmade is great but overrated IMO, Your on the right track with getting ZT in, But Try to bring in the higher end ones Spyderco is always a great choice as long as its the American Models, Rule of thumb, dont carry Chinese made stuff no matter what company name is on it. You may even want to reach out to a custom Maker about carrying their Line of Knives.

Benchmade and Spyderco are great I like some of the higher end SOG stuff. Also American made Ka-Bar knives, ESEE, and Zero Tolerance. are also great. I also like some stuff from Mora, Boker, CRKT, Kershaw, and Ontario...I may have a problem with knives...

I am not a knife guy per se, but Kershaw knives serve my needs. However, they are sold by Walmart, and I don’t think you can compete with Walmart’s prices.

My present favorite is a Kershaw Shuffle, which I bought at Walmart for $14.97.

Knives freak me out, so I can't be called a knife guy. Normally I like Spyderco, carry an older CRKT everyday for cutting open boxes. Just today I bought a Kershaw, too soon to know how much I like it.
