Ive been hanging around some old timers lately and was discussing knives, They all had these hidden tang, wood handled knives, They were nice, just not my style, I gave it some thought and decided to make one, and see how it goes It was a fun project as well as a challenge, will help showcase my versatility as a Maker and possibly broaden my customer base.
Traditional Trailing point hunter, stacked bolster, Nickel silver/copper/g10/yellow alaskan cedar burl/G10/copper, Coco Bolo handle, 1084 acid stonewashed blade 61 HRC (rockwell hardness, C scale)
One surprise for me, was how nice it feels in the hand, you can really do some work with this one, I may add a lanyard through the handle (cant help myself) But I am being told to leave it be LOL
As always, all my Blades are made here in the good old USA, all processes are done in house and not out sourced from design to sheath is done 100% by me, by hand from raw materials sourced by USA sources,
