For the cost and what you getting not bad if you looking for cheap. The tech support for those kits are horrendous.
Bad hard drives and some defective cams took weeks to resolve.

I'm thinking, less than $400, 4MP, POE, & at least 120' for night vision. I'm looking for something that looks neat & not as obtrusive as one of those big units you would see hanging off the wall of something like a school, or federal building.

I’ve used supercircuits.com for projects at work and have found their customer service to be ok

Your budget is not applicable for the spec you are looking for . A dome ptz will not be able to see 120 ft at night .not even close for a quality image.

Ignoring the price...what would you suggest?

Running 3 more Cat 6 lines right now instead of just relying on one camera for that area.

Those Axis's are nice, but holy shit are they pricey.

If price in no object and you want usable clear video at night the Axis Q6125-LE, Q6128-E & 6155-E are insane. The laser focus and IR are hands down the best out there. They are very pricy but depending on what you are looking to do, it might be worth it to you.. I have these on a few of my customers houses, including mine. I can literally can focus all the way down the block at night and it is crystal clear.

Agreed . Best and have zero defective units. Streaming is excellent. Worth every dollar
