Way off topic for locks, but if you didn't see that show *Mad Men," you are really missing out on something worth seeing. It is nothing like Breaking Bad in content, but it is pretty much close to it in worthiness to watch it. I cannot say it is better, or worse, because it is a matter of personal preference, but it is 100% worth watching. I think it is on Netflix now. I tried watching it once, but I was distracted, and didn't even finish the first episode and chalked it off. A few friends got me to try it again, and it was amazing.
This deserves a whole thread, and only Deadwood ties into guns, but it is great show. Carnivale is pretty twisted, and was cancelled after 2 seasons, with a lot of really pissed of people, but it was costing 4 million an episode, which was unheard of back then. They would have continued it if the producers would have agreed to 2 million each episode, and they said no. Everything I mentioned, except Mad Men, was HBO when they started having their own content. If you have HBO on your cable or satellite, you can watch all of this stuff on your computer, or iPad, etc. on HBO Go.
I actually do have a life, which is why HBO Go is pretty cool. You can watch it whenever you want. Some of this old stuff that I never even gave a chance to when it was on originally is pretty amazing. Mods - sorry about the non-gun related post. Will keep it where it belongs next time.Last edited by MSA77; 08-18-2016, 08:25 PM.NRA Benefactor Life
