I don't have much in the way of freeze dried type rations stored, but do keep a fairly large well stocked pantry. Lots of canned and jarred goods, and a large supply of pastas, dried beans, rice and bottled water.
Most canned or jarred food has a shelf life of 2-5 yrs, so we just try to rotate the items and use them throughout the year, and just keep restocking so there's always a decent supply.
Figure I always have enough on hand for a family of 4 to go about a good month or 2 before we have to trek to Malaka's house and harvest a goat.Artist formerly known as TERRY P

Here are a few good web sites. Most say the same thing, stock up on what you use. Flour, beans, rice, pasta, Etc. Don't forget the water! http://www.activistpost.com/2012/10/...our-local.html, https://www.thereadystore.com/water-storage http://www.happypreppers.com/home.html, https://www.espwaterproducts.com/eme...elief-outback/
